Welcome Back Letter for School Year 2011-2012

Dear Catholic School Students and Families,

Welcome back to school!

Congratulations on the beginning of a new and exciting school year in the third largest school system in the county of Santa Clara! There are over 16,300 students in our Catholic elementary and high school schools and each year, we celebrate the opportunity to learn, play, and pray together. Our students speak many different languages, are active in a variety of extra-curricular programs, participate in outreach to the most needy in our county, and actively spread the ‘Good News’ of our faith.

I look forward to visiting you at your schools and sharing our stories for another year. I will pray for you as you reestablish your good study habits, a commitment to complete your schoolwork, and to work together with your good teachers. As you begin each day, remember me in your prayers and I promise to remember you in mine.
