Mission Statement

Established in 1987, St. John the Baptist School serves the families of Milpitas and the Santa Clara Valley, with its central purpose being to assist parents in the Christian education of their children. Our community reflects the multi-cultural and multi-economic richness of the area where safe, nuturing surroundings provide students with the opportunities to reach their full potential. Aware of this partnership in the development of a whole child, our aim is to provide an educational environment that includes all dimensions of human life-spiritual, moral, intellectual, and social. The atmosphere of the school reflects the recognition and appreciation of each person's uniqueness. Every endeavor is made to guide each child toward true freedom, inner peace, and a feeling of self-worth. Working within the framework of home, school and Church, these objectives reflect the principles of a truly Christ-like life.
