Liturgical Commission
The Liturgical Commission of the Diocese of San José is advisory to the Bishop in the area of liturgical renewal and growth in the worship and prayer of the Diocese of San José. The Commission:
- provides the Associate for Liturgy with input and evaluation regarding the liturgical life of the diocese,
- makes recommendations to the Associate for Liturgy,
- when appropriate, submits recommendations for consideration and approval by the Bishop, and
- assists the Associate for Liturgy in implementing the Bishop’s directives and approved recommendations under his supervision.
The Liturgical Commission of the Diocese includes several standing committees:
- Music
- Environment and Art
- Benedictus Award
- Catechumenate
- Liturgical Catechesis
