ILM Celebrates Class of 2011

On Wednesday, May 4, 2011, the Institute for Leadership in Ministry celebrated the graduation of the Class of 2011 during Evening Prayer at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Joseph. Friends and families gathered to celebrate the completion of three years of theological study, pastoral formation and leadership development.
These sixty graduates represent twenty-six parishes within the Diocese of San Jose. A gifted and dedicated group of individuals, they have answered the call to ministry within their parishes in the areas of liturgy, stewardship, catechetics, pastoral care, parish council, social justice and youth and young adults.
The graduates and guests continued the celebration at the post-graduation reception organized by the Class of 2012.
There are so many people to thank at this time: the pastors who recommended these graduates to the Institute and who, with the parish staffs, encouraged and supported them; the instructors who shared their knowledge, wisdom, and insights; and, finally the families of the graduates who supported them during their years of study.
