About Us

Linda Batton has served in the Diocese of San Jose since 1999. She holds a MA in Pastoral Ministries from Santa Clara University and has over 20 years of experience serving the Church and community as a volunteer and pastoral leader. Linda has traveled widely particularly in the developing world. She was a member of CRS delegations to Cambodia, Tanzania, and the Holy Land.  She has also traveled to El Salvador and recently to the diocesan mission in Jamaica. Linda has three grown children and five grandchildren.

Sylvia Blanch has been with the Diocese since 1999. She was born in the Philippines and attended Assumption College, Manila. Currently, she is a member of the Couples for Christ and helps support one of their projects - the Gawad Kalinga. She extends her help by being active in Sta. Teresa Parish and supporting its many projects. She and her husband, Manny have a daughter, Therese who graduated from Notre Dame High School and will attend Loyola Marymount College in the Fall.
