Catholic Lobby Day

Catholic Lobby Day is celebrated each April and offers an opportunity for Catholics throughout California to come together at the State Capitol to advocate for the poor and voiceless. Sponsored by the California Catholic Conference, it includes Mass at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament in Sacramento, briefings, a march to the Capitol, a rally on the Capitol steps, and meetings with area legislators. The Diocese of San Jose provides bus transportation, lunch, and pre-event issue briefing and training in legislative advocacy. To join us or for more information, contact Linda Batton at batton@dsj.org.
*First Annual Catholic Youth Advocacy Day is March 22, 2011
