Open Enrollment 2010 Reminder!
 

Reminder! Open Enrollment will begin on May 1st, effective July 1, 2010!

The Diocese of San Jose is pleased to announce our 2010 annual Open Enrollment. This year’s Open Enrollment will be online, allowing real-time access to your benefit information through www.retatrust.org.
 
You will be receiving an invitation to enroll from your location administrator, as well as via email. It will include instructions for obtaining your user ID and password.
 
There are changes to all plans this year, therefore you need to login, review the plan options and costs and enroll! We cannot default you to the plan you currently have, as that plan will change next year. Once enrolled, you may return to the login site as many times as you wish during the Open Enrollment Period and change your selections.
All changes must be finalized by Monday, May 31st!

Safe Environment Program: Using ParishSOFT for the Compliance Audit

REQUIRED TRAINING FOR ALL PARISHES!

This training will help you to use your ParishSOFT application to enter new parish volunteers into the system and how to track their compliance in the new Safe Environment Program. (This is the first phase of your overall SEP preparation.) 

Seating is very limited.  Please reserve your date now.

Note: All parishes must send at least one representative to one of the following workshops.  Attendees should already be a ParishSOFT system administrator AND/OR will be the designated SEP administrator.  Call or email Evan Linick if you have any questions about these roles, 408-983-0294.   Please use this web form for registration.  (the web form requires a DSJ intranet login/password)
 

 The workshop will take place at the Chancery, in the Saint Clare Conference Room.  Workshop facilitated by Evan Linick, of the ADA Office and Bernie Nojadera, Director of the Office for the Protection of Children and Vulnerable Adults. 
 

Continuing Formation for Recently Ordained Priests

Quarterly gathering of those Ordained Under 5 Years. Today's Sessions explore Marriage and Annulment Procedures with the Tribunal Staff, Mandated Reporting with the Office for the Protection of Children and Vulnerable Adults,  Benefits Package with the Vicar for Clergy, and Financial Planning for Retirement with Henry Greiner.
