- Description
Anointing of the Sick, one of the seven sacraments. Who is this for?
Baptized Catholics of all ages who seek recovery in body, mind, and spirit. There may still be a misunderstanding that this Sacrament is solely for those on their death bed, but that is not the case. Those who are impaired due to sickness, injury, or old age; those who will be undergoing surgery; those who have been wounded by evil; those who are alienated from God and community because of physical or emotional problems. This Sacrament can offer strength, peace, and courage to endure with grace the sufferings of illness, as well as restoration of health according to God’s will.
You are invited to join us for an informative presentation.Presenter: Reverend Christopher Bennett.
The Sacrament of the Sick will be offered following the presentation in the church.
