The Works of Mercy are an essential part of a Catholic cemetery mission. We take these works seriously: to provide a sacred, peaceful and hope-filled setting for burying the dead; to pray for the living and the dead and to comfort the sorrowful and the afflicted. We want to support awareness of these particular works of mercy for our children and families. They are presented in our Catholic schools at various levels as part of the religion curriculum. Students read about saints who exemplify these works and they choose special projects that demonstrate holy action in their own lives. We invite you to consider another experiential opportunity to learn about the Works of Mercy.
