Cemetery Outreach Mass and Workshop: "How We Pray Goodbye"

Practical resources of music, scriptures and rituals to prepare you and your loved one's end-of-life journey.  This workshop will benefit those who will plan and prepare a funeral service, as well as those interested in developing a bereavement ministry at their parish.  Attendees will have the opportunity to witness the power of prayer in our gathering liturgy, and share some of their own experiences of remembrance.

Presenters:  Mary Elaine McEnery, M.A. Religious Studies, musician and liturgist; Elaine Ketell, B.S., cantor and musician; and Father Thuc Si Ho, Pastor os St. Lawrence the Martyr Parish.  Co-sponsored by the Catholic Cemeteries of the Diocese of San Jose and St. Lawrence the Martyr Parish and Educational Center. 

Schedule:

Mass, 8:30 - 9:30 a.m.

Workshop, 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Lunch will follow, presented by the Friendship Club of St. Lawrence the Martyr Parish.
