Location

St. Mary’s (in the Hofmann Center) (View Map)

Description

One of life’s most devastating experiences is that of human grief arising from the loss of a loved one. To escape being trapped in the tragic cycle of confusion, anger and pain, one must acknowledge and feel the waves of emotions that are part of mourning. Through this process, the mystery of healing and faith enter our lives. We will view an award winning video of real people who have experienced loss and healing. We will learn basic truths about grief. After each of three parts, participants will take time to share and connect their own story. This workshop is appropriate for those who are grieving and those who want to understand the grief process.
