You are welcome to hear a wonderful story of Somos Amigos in the Dominican Republic! Learn about this special immersion opportunity and the tremendous lessons this experience offers to those who travel this way. As many of you know, immersion opportunities are unique for their habit of changing us and the way we perceive the world. There is no convincing argument or book that can transform us like the experience of walking with the poor. The poor always give us far more that we can give them. The poor teach us far more about what is important than we can teach them. And it is only by being with them, that we can raise each other up!
