Supporting the Diocesan Green Initiative
The St. Mary's Peace & Justice Council will present the movie “Blue Gold: World Water Wars” on Wednesday, Oct. 14 from 7 to 9 pm. This film examines worldwide examples of people fighting for their basic right to water, with discussion to follow to take action. Displays open at 6:45 p.m. Film begins at 7 p.m. followed by discussion moderated by Mark Schlossberg from Food and Water Watch.
Location: Hofmann Center, St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception, 219 Bean Avenue, Los Gatos.
This movie has been planned to coincide with the launch of the diocesan Green Initiative. Attendees will be invited to sign up to be contacted about future Green Initiative efforts at St. Mary's.
