Planning Your Own Funeral

This workshop gives you an opportunity to learn ways to personalize your Vigil, Funeral Mass, and Committal.  Where in the funeral rite is creativity appropriate?  What readings and music would you like to hear?  Can cremated remains be present at the church?  How much will it cost?  Now is the time to ask questions and learn about the Catholic teachings.  St. Martin Parish in Sunnyvale and the Diocesan Catholic Cemeteries are sponsoring this workshop.  Mary Elaine McEnery, Elaine Ketell, and Alameda Family Funeral Home will be presenting.  There is no fee for this workshop.  For more information please contact Suzanne Young – syoung@dsj.org.
