- Description
- In November 2009, the American Catholic Bishops revised Part Five of the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services. The revisions to the introduction of Part Five and Directive 58 concern nutrition and hydration of patients in a chronic state, e.g., persistent vegetative state, especially regarding medically-assisted nutrition and hydration. This workshop will explore the meaning of these revisions and how they affect Catholic hospitals and care centers, as well as the writing of an Advance Directive.This workshop is intended for Priests, Deacons, Doctors, Nurses, Healthcare Workers and other interested Catholics.Presenters:Fr.
