Welcoming and Commissioning Day is a long-standing tradition in the Diocese of San Jose that helps energize everyone to proclaim the Word of God.  It offers an opportunity for parish catechetical and youth ministry leaders to renew friendships, meet and welcome new-comers. It also includes a special liturgy and commissioning presided by Bishop Patrick J. McGrath, a guest speaker, Dr. Fred Parella, and a great lunch.
