Strangers No Longer: Partners in the Promise Next October, 2012, the Diocese of San Jose will host the annual National Meeting of Diocesan Liturgical Commissions. Each year, the diocesan directors of worship, members of their diocesan liturgical commissions, the chair of the United States Bishops' Committee on Divine Worship, and the Secretariat for Divine Worship gather to discuss relevant issues in liturgy in the United States. Our diocese will host the next gathering, which will continue studying the topic from the 2011 gathering in Portland, Oregon—intercultural worship in a multicultural Church.
