Description

 

In compliance with the Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People, Safe Environment and Sexual Conduct Training and the Adult Pastoral Code of Conduct is required of all diocesan personnel: priests, deacons, pastoral ministers, administrators, principals, teachers, staff, and volunteers. This training is a condition of employment and is expected to be completed within 6 months of hire for new employees. Training is valid for three years.  Volunteers, as well as employees who need to recertify their training, have the option of completing the training requirement by attending a live workshop or taking the training online at www.shieldthevulnerable.org.   New employees are required to attend the live presentation of the Safe Environment and Sexual Conduct Training.
