Getting to Know: American Muslims and Their Faith

We are delighted to welcome Maha Elgenaidi, Chief Executive Officer Islamic Networks Group (ING), to be with us for this educational opportunity. The presentation will include basic terminology and demographics of Muslims in the United States and the world. Ms. Elgenaida will describe the major beliefs and practices of Islam, including key Muslim holidays, and expand on the faith’s principal theological teachings, including its relation to Judaism and Christianity. Common misconceptions about Islam and Muslims will be examined. A period for Q + A will follow. All are welcome – please mark your calendar and plan to join us!
