March Prayer Practice: Praise & Worship

Praise and worship is a contemporary prayer style rooted in old practices. Praise and worship provides accessible songs that help people open their heart to Jesus. John Kellet, the music minister at Holy Spirit Parish in San Jose will lead us through this practice. Thurs., Mar. 5, 7:00-8:00 p.m. in at Sacred Heart, Saratoga in the Parish Center.
What is the Prayer Practices series?
Are you wanting to increase your prayer life? Are you looking for a way to pray that connects with you? Sacred Heart introduces Prayer Practices, a monthly opportunity to explore the breadth of Catholic prayer styles. Prayer isn’t only the recitation of words, and Prayer Practices will bring in art, body movement, music, contemplation, and other methods of helping us connect with God. Learn a bit about the history of each prayer style and then practice praying together as a group. Come for the entire series or only for a particular practice that intrigues you. One Thursday night each month, 7:00-8:00 in the Parish Center.
