Catholic, Politics & Conscience-The 2020 Election

Fr. Thomas Massaro, S.J., Professor of Moral Theology at Fordham, will walk us through contemporary concerns as both Catholics and Citizens. He will lay the foundation with a historical context of the development of Catholicism in the U.S. and speak to the Catholic understanding of conscience. In light of the upcoming election, he’ll touch upon the USCCB’s Faithful Citizenship document, while applying these lessons to particular decisions.
