The Diocesan Youth Retreat (DYR) is an annual summer retreat hosted by the Diocese of San Jose’s Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministries. For five days, in the beautiful setting of South Lake Tahoe, teen (graduated 8th graders to graduated 12th graders) participants experience and encounter the love of God by means of Catholic catechesis, sacramental formation, social justice awareness, prayer experiences and significant opportunities to fellowship and create lasting friendships.

For the past 40 years, high school youth from across the United States have had their faith awakened and their hearts set on a fire through a personal encounter with Jesus at a Steubenville Conference. This summer, over 54,000 teens and their leaders will be a part of this movement of grace at one of 25 conferences.
