“Isa akong Katoliko at buong-pusong tinatanggap ang kamatayan para sa Panginoon. Kung ako man ay may isanlibong buhay, lahat ng iyon ay iaalay ko sa Kanya.” (Tagalog)
These were his final words before he accepted death at the hands of his enemies.
THE DIOCESAN COUNCIL OF FILIPINO CATHOLICS (DCFC), in remembrance of his words and his sacrifices, honors him in the Eucharistic Celebration of his life at St. Victor’s Catholic Church, 3150 Sierra Road San Jose, CA on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 12 Noon.
Rev. Fr. Andres Ligot, Judicial Vicar, Diocese of San Jose and Vicar of Filipino ministries will preside at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Everyone is invited to join us in our annual Eucharistic Celebration honoring our first Filipino Saint from Binondo, Manila.
There will be a reception at the Hall, immediately following the Mass.
