I was born in San Jose, California. I attended James Lick High School, Evergreen Valley College, and San Jose State University, where I obtained a B.A. in History. I am currently enrolled in the M.A. History program at SJSU. I am a parishioner at Five Wounds Portuguese National Church. I was inspired to pursue the priesthood by Our Lord’s words to various apostles to “follow me.” I am heavily influenced by the example of Fr. Antonio Silveira who tirelessly serves our Portuguese community and by all those who collaborate with him to preserve our traditions and customs for future generations.
