START

4 pm – Participants begin gathering at Plaza de Cesar Chavez at Market Street

5 pm – Opening remarks with state and county officials and Bishop Cantú to give Eucharistic blessing toward the State of California and County of Santa Clara

The procession will head to the Cathedral Basilica of St. Joseph. The cathedral rector will greet the participants. Bishop Cantú will then give Eucharistic blessing toward the Diocese of San José.

Then the procession will head to Martin Luther King Library. The Student Body President of San Jose State University will greet the participants. Bishop Cantú will then give Eucharistic blessing.

The procession will continue to San Jose City Hall. The Mayor and several council members will greet the participants. Bishop Cantú will then give the Eucharistic blessing toward the City of San Jose

FINISH

Then the procession will conclude at our Our Lady of La Vang. The pastor of the new church, Fr. Loi Huynh, will greet the participants. All the faithful are invited into the church to celebrate the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ Mass.

Following the 4:00PM English Mass, we have the First Eucharistic Procession at 5:00PM.
All-Night Adoration to the Blessed Sacrament: June 10-11, 2023.

• • 7:30AM – Solemn Benediction
  • 8:00 AM, 9:30AM, 11:00 AM – English Masses
  • 12:30PM – Mass in Spanish followed by Second Eucharistic Procession at 1:30PM
  • 2:00 PM – Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Holy Hour
  • 3:30 PM – Third Eucharistic Procession followed by Solemn Benediction.

Mass in Vietnamese follows. All those who had their First Eucharist this year are encouraged to wear their First Communion attires or dresses and lead the Procession.

CORPUS CHRISTI PROCESSION ROUTE

• From the Church, exit and left to Sequoia Drive.
• Right to Parking Lot Entrance and continue the Procession in the huge Parking Lot.
• Return to the Church for Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and concluding with Solemn Benediction.

Eucharistic Procession be held After Mass.

For 10:00 am and 12:00 pm mass – procession will start from the church to the back of the parish hall parking lot then on to BayView Rd then to Olive Ave. stopping in the cul de sac of Carroll Street where 3 altars were constructed. Procession will finish by going back to the church.

For 5:00 pm mass – procession will proceed to the back of the parish hall parking lot where 3 altars were constructed.
