Bright Futures: Gang Prevention Mentoring Program

Bright Futures Program info: Bright Futures is a community of youth and caring adults who support each other in developing personal responsibility and an inspiring vision for their lives. We provide vulnerable, under-performing and low income youth in San Jose with extensive support to help them discover and achieve their potential. Youth are supported in living the programs’ four cornerstones- integrity, responsibility, community and possibility- through coaching and role modeling by the Bright Futures staff and community of volunteer mentors. Bright Futures has a 15- year track record for success and has been among the top-rated intervention programs by the San Jose Mayor’s Gang Prevention Task Force.
