Christian Spirituality Through the Ages: Wisdom for Daily Living from Christian Spiritual Masters

This retreat will reflect on knowledge gleaned throughout the Church’s history: New Testament and Early Church, St. Francis of Assisi (1182-1226), St. Ignatius of Loyola (1491-1556), St. Teresa of Avila (1517-1582), Thomas Merton, Dorothy Day (20th century). Recovery spirituality (20th century)

The retreat will also include practice of the “Jesus Prayer,” an ancient method of Christian meditation that helps deepen our relationship with Jesus Christ and releases stress and tension. Fr. Kevin will teach the method to beginners and will provide deeper knowledge for advanced practitioners.
