Companions in Ignatian Service and Spirituality Information Session
August 20, 2014 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
ENGAGE YOUR HEART THROUGH SERVICE TO OTHERS
Companions in Ignatian Service and Spirituality (www.ignatiancompanions.org) is a unique program that engages women and men, retired and semi-retired, who have a desire to serve in our communities while deepening their spiritual foundations. Ignatian Companions integrate their personal journey of faith with their own conviction to serve within local nonprofits.
Founded in Santa Clara County in 2008 with just 6 members, Ignatian Companions expanded to Alameda and Contra Costa Counties in 2010 and to San Francisco in 2013. As an endorsed work of the California Province of the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits), our 10-month program operates from September-June each year and is hosted by Most Holy Trinity Parish (San Jose).
We are currently accepting applications for the 2014-2015 program year and will be welcoming new participants until our program is filled to its capacity. Applications are available on our website. If you have an interest, we invite you to attend an upcoming information session or contact us at ignatiancompanions@gmail.com or 415-375-0622.
