Ecuadorian Soup Supper
November 3, 2013 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
How can you answer the Catholic call to Social Justice, one of the goals of the Diocese of San Jose? Come and listen to parishioners who visited and worked at the Working Boys’ Center, in Quito, Ecuador. They will give short personal testimonies of their experience and how the immersion trip transformed their lives. Consider a trip for yourself and/or your family. Mark your calendar for Sunday, November 3 and come to St. Mary Parish (Howley Hall Gym), 219 Bean Avenue, Los Gatos at 6:00pm! Enjoy complimentary Ecuadorian soup, delicious bread, and Ecuadorian cookies and coffee as you listen to live Ecuadorian music. Come and purchase beautiful hand-made goods from Ecuador, which will be sold throughout the Soup Supper as well as after all masses on November 2nd and 3rd.
All proceeds from this event go directly to the Working Boys’ Center to enable families to learn skills to become self sufficient and move out of poverty.
