Saints in our House: How Parents and Teens Connect

Internationally acclaimed author and speaker, Michele Borba, will speak on how parents and teenagers can effectively communicate. Main topics will be how parents can empathize with their teenage children and how teenagers can move beyond challenges of a “selfie” mentality. As an expert on parenting and teenage challenges today, Michele Borba comes back “home” to Santa Clara to share how critical communication between parents and teenagers could lead to significant conversations about faith and life. All teenagers, parents, grandparents, confirmation sponsors in the Diocese of San Jose are welcome to this open event sponsored by the Diocese of San Jose Office of Youth and Young Adults, Hispanic Apostolate, Vocations and Santa Clara University Markkula Center for Applied Ethics.
