St. Leo’s Catholic School Faculty member and 2nd grade homeroom teacher, Mrs. Kimberly Pratt, was named one of five RAFT STEAM Teachers of the Year award recipients. Her students, their parents, the administration, and her colleagues nominated her in the spring and after an extensive process and testimonials, RAFT executives informed the school of her selection. She was honored at RAFT’s Annual Ceremony and Auction, held virtually this year. St. Leo students have attended this event in the past two years to showcase the RAFT’s collaboration with schools and STEM education. In addition to prizes for her and her class, Mrs. Pratt will now have a seat on their Education Advisory Council and was inducted into the RAFT Hall of Fame. What an honor for Mrs. Pratt!
